Human beings have straying hearts. Human beings have hungry hearts. Human beings love new and love old. Human beings innovate, stumble on things but reflect and reminisce about past victories or good family memories. I came across the song We'll Meet Again. I heard someone on YouTube playing it on a 1939 Hammond organ so I looked up the singer and found her. She is Vera Lynn and she passed away in 2000 at 103 years young. There is a video of her performing the song for British troops and the connection is palpable. There is very little in the world that connects people truly. The history of the world is connection, disconnection and reconnection. There are times when we feel a connection and we wonder where it could lead if anywhere.
